About Memorials Direct

This Saturday, October 17, is National Cremation Placement Day, a new national observance dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of finding a meaningful and lasting place for cremated remains. It is never too late to create a beautiful, permanent memorial for someone you love.

Families often begin thinking about a headstone or grave marker during an already stressful time. Selecting a permanent monument usually does not need to be one of those rapid-fire decisions. Taking a little extra time to make thoughtful decisions is time well spent.

When most people think about cremation urns, they picture a decorative container displayed on a shelf or tucked away in a cabinet. While those urns certainly have their place, more families today are looking for something different—something more personal, more permanent, and more reflective of the life being remembered.

Memorials Direct is a division of Bolt Laserworks, built and focused on the idea that memorials should be as unique as the lives they represent, yet keeping the entire process both simple and affordable.
